The Pedorthic Association of Canada invites you to join us at our annual Symposium to be held at The Sheraton on the Falls in beautiful Niagara Falls, Ontario April 4 & 5, 2014. Symposium delegates come from all over North America for this two day educational event: last year’s event in Montréal, Quebec was our best attended event yet with over 300 delegates. Attendees are primarily pedorthists, but we also love to have allied health care delegates join from other practice areas such as podiatry, chiropody, physiotherapy and chiropractic.
Please accept our invitation to attend the 2014 PAC Symposium
in scenic Niagara Falls!
HANDS ON PEDORTHICS: TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES FOR DAILY PRACTICE
APRIL 4 & 5, 2014
To provide our attendees with a ‘hands on’ experience, we (literally) searched the world to find the best Keynote, Plenary and Workshop speakers. Our speakers from Canada, US, England and Australia will provide you with relevant and practical developmental tools for your daily practice.
A sample of our speakers for this year include:
• Craig Payne, DPM, former senior lecturer at LaTrobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Craig has an extensive research background in foot orthotics, running and running footwear.
• Benno Nigg, Dr.sc.nat., Dr.h.c., originally from Switzerland, he is the founder, developer and co-director of the Human Performance Laboratory at the University of Calgary, a multi-disciplinary Research Center concentrating on the study of the human body and its locomotion.
• Paul Scherer, DPM, MS. He literally wrote the book on orthotics! He is the author of Recent Advances in Orthotic Therapy, founder of ProLab orthotics and has taught foot and ankle biomechanics for almost 40 years.
Along with our Keynote and Plenary sessions, a variety of hands on workshops will allow everyone to leave with a new tool for their ‘toolbox’ to use in daily practice. Topics will range from arthritic feet to athletic feet: you select the topics that are most relevant to you. Think of this as your personalized symposium!
We look forward to seeing you in ‘The Falls’!
